NEW PRODUCT RANGES ADDRESS CEILINGS, WALLS, DISPLAYS AND PERIMETERS

VANCOUVER, BC, MARCH 22, 2016 – Cooledge has announced four ranges of lighting solutions that will give architects and lighting designers the ability to integrate material light into the spaces they’re creating. The Ceiling, Wall, Display and Perimeter ranges are each engineered for optimal illumination and ease of installation. They represent a breakthrough in luminous surface illumination and transform conventional lighting from a fixture model to a building-material model.

“The various architectural surfaces in buildings are functionally and structurally different and our new ranges will address those differences,” said Philippe Schick, Vice President of Product Management at Cooledge. “With our lighting-as-a-material solution, it is now easy to integrate light into interior environments by using TILE and LINE on virtually any surface.”

Cooledge’s new TILE portfolio received the Innovation Award Architecture+ Technology from AIT and xia Intelligente Architektur at last week’s the Light + Building 2016 exhibition and conference.

“Our ranges are based on the company’s groundbreaking flexible substrate technology that combines low power LEDs with electrical connections. Each range will evolve to address differing application needs and will maintain its unique, flexible, paper-thin characteristics that allow each to be easily shaped and installed on-site, much like today’s common building materials,” said Schick.

Cooledge has published a new set of videos that demonstrate the flexibility and modular nature of Cooledge’s LED lighting ranges, and how easily the products can be installed.

Ceiling, Wall, and Display solutions are offered in a range of CCTs with a color tunable option and with CRIs over 90. The Perimeter range is available in CCTs from 2700K to 5700K, and comes in two different widths for greater flexibility in architectural accent lighting.
